Robert Hamilton Martin
Robert Hamilton Martin was born in Ruston on April 13, 1996, and departed this life on November 6, 2021. Robert had the biggest heart. He was a family man and loved his kids dearly.
Robert was the friendliest of people; the kind of guy that never met a stranger. His loving smile would brighten up any room he entered. He loved helping people and continued helping by being an organ donor. He loved working with his hands at various jobs in construction and auto mechanics. He was even opening an auto repair business with his partner, Jason Johnston.
He attended Ruston schools and graduated from Youth Challenge Program in 2013. He enjoyed traveling extensively with his family.
Robert was preceded in death by great-greatgrandmother, Hattie May Simonton Martin; great-grandfather, Leonard Hamilton Martin; great-grandparents, Earl and Grace Henry; great-grandparents, Bob and Mary Edge; great-aunts, Sandra Martin, Becky Roberts, and Fran Martin; greatuncles, Mike Henry, Eddie Henry, and Gary Henry; aunt, Sara June Martin; cousin, James Wyatt Martin; uncle, Bobby Causey III and cousin, Kassidy Jo Causey.
Robert is survived by his forever partner, Kimberly Ann Miller; his children, Isabella Lanae Criswell, Stefan Hamilton Martin, Tucker Daniel Smith and Aurora Melea Martin; his parents, Mandi Lynn Martin and Tim Henry (Shauna); his grandparents, Scott and Claudia Martin (Mom and Dad) and Lonnie and Lida Henry; his siblings, Sara Rose Sherrill, Nathan Patrick Jones, Tori Burgess (Austin), Dylan Henry (Kayla) and Brandon Henry and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston followed by internment at Vienna Cemetery in Ruston.
