Mary Frances Roberts Colvin

Funeral services for Mary Frances Roberts Colvin of Ruston will be held at Temple Baptist Church of Ruston on Monday, January 10 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dale Oden and Dr. Reggie Bridges officiating.

Burial will follow at Cook Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 9:30 a.m.

She was born April 21, 1948, in Ruston, and passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Upon retirement, she was school secretary at Glenview Elementary, in Ruston, for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Donald Wayne Colvin; daughters, Stacy Elizabeth Colvin of Tyler, Texas, and Angela Colvin Taylor (Christopher Ryan Taylor) of Ruston; granddaughter, Sarah Kate Taylor; grandsons, John Robert Taylor and Jack Henry Taylor, all of Ruston; and sisters, Barbara Hodges of Benton and Peggy Cyphert of Covington; and sister-in-law, Jann Colvin of Chattanooga, Tenn.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Spencer Roberts, mother, Floribell Green Roberts, and brother-in-law, Billy Colvin.
