Allen was the very definition of a hardworking man. Passion shined through with everything he loved to do. Even at the end, his mind stayed passionate about what and who he loved. Memories of before most of us were born would come back to his mind, and again it was like they were present day to him.

Memories that we have to believe were necessary closure for his life. Who wouldn’t want to remember good times with ones you once loved and knew, all the while being surrounded by people who love you now. Al was a talented, good hearted man. We will remember that man. The one who was always willing to help in any way he could.

The one who never asked for anything in return. The one who was Mr. Fixit. The golf watching, country music loving man. We will remember all his selfless acts. All the times we laughed, talked, or worked together. We will hang on to the many conversations as we remember the best of Allen Goodine.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time Friday, at Owens Memorial Chapel. To leave an online memorial message for the family, please visit www.owensmemorialfuneralhome.com.
