Charlotte Perritt

Services honoring Mrs. Charlotte Perritt, will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Alabama Baptist Church in Arcadia, with Bro. Taff Watts and Bro. Jeff Hurst officiating.

Burial will follow at Alabama Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Alabama Baptist Church.

Charlotte Perritt was born October 16, 1945, in Ruston, to Leroy and Sybil Beatty Smith. She entered into rest on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Alexandria. Charlotte was a graduate of Ruston High School.

She was married to the love of her life Lorenz Perritt for 60 years. Charlotte was a wonderful cook, enjoyed being outside and gardening in her flower beds, and loved her collection of angels.

She was a faithful member of Alabama Baptist Church and loved her church family and her community.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy O. Smith and Sybil Beatty Smith.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lorenz Perritt; sons, Scott Perritt-Reish ( Michael), and David Perritt (Caroline Cyr); grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria; sisters, Annette Gibson, and Connie Dallas ( Danny); nieces and nephews, Leroy Gibson, Bob Gibson, Misty Odom, Josh Dallas, Daniel Dallas, and Kim Bond; and by numerous other great nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends.

Honoring Charlotte as pallbearers will be Josh Dallas, Daniel Dallas, Gage Craig, Damien Odom, Dylan Odom, and Bob Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be Misty Odom, Leroy Gibson, Shelby Gibson, Gabe Gibson, Drake Odom, and Alyssia Craig.

The family would like to thank the Alabama Baptist Church and Community, for all the love and support during this time.
