Daniel Wayne Davis

Daniel Wayne Davis, beloved son, brother, uncle, musician, and friend passed away at the age of 67 in his home in Lafayette, Louisiana, on March 24, 2024.

Danny was born the youngest of three boys to Major Paul A. and Ginny Davis of Choudrant. Danny spent his adult life in Ruston and Lafayette.

Danny is preceded in death by both of his parents and grandparents.

Danny will be dearly missed by his two brothers, Jeff Davis and Mike Davis of Choudrant. Along with Mike’s wife, Gwen and children, Lauren and Jarod and Jeff’s girls, Corine, Lindsay and Emily, 3 great nieces and 4 great nephews. Danny’s sweet heart, positive energy, gracious soul, contagious laughter and heartfelt music will forever be missed.

There will be a memorial service on June 22, 2024, at 11 a. m. at Alabama Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow.
