Harriet K. Trussell

Funeral services for Harriet K. Trussell will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Ray Raney.

Mrs. Trussell was born on April 21, 1950, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Leslie E. and Dorothy P. Golsby and passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana, after a long illness. Mrs. Trussell graduated from Delhi High School in 1968 and the pharmacy school of Northeast Louisiana University in 1975. For many years she worked as a pharmacist, owning Medic Pharmacy of Ruston. Always an entrepreneur, she founded several businesses including D & H Wholesale Medical Incorporated and Trussell and Associates, a property investment firm.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve K. Knight and siblings, Cynthia G. Guffey and Robert H. Golsby.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher L. Knight and wife, Susan and Caleb Trussell; grandsons, Michael S. Taunton and Allan J. Taunton; sister, Connie G. Pankey and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mrs. Trussell as pallbearers will be Michael Taunton, Allan Taunton, William Pankey, Kevin Pankey, Dave Collins and Charles Waller.
