James Cleeve Robison
Funeral services for James Cleeve Robison, 70, of Ruston, will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston.
Interment will be at Sweetwater Cemetery in Quitman, with Rev. Jeff Smart and Rev. Stuart Toms officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at Cook Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. Cleeve was a member of Cook Baptist Church of Ruston. He served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War and finished his military career and retired with the Louisiana National Guard.
He was also a truck driver for a couple of years before going to work for the paper mill in Hodge. Upon finishing at the paper mill, Cleeve worked for Tony Gilley Enterprises, where he ultimately retired as an HVAC repairman in 2014.
He loved his family, loved his church, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie I. Robison and Aylean Neal Robison; his siblings, Willie R. Robison and Patricia R. Holloway.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Robison; children, Jennifer Caskey and Justin Robison; his siblings, Jack Robison (Debbie), Sheran O’Donnell (Bob), Wayne Robison (Elizabeth) and Ralph Robison (Lisa); one granddaughter, Kaytlin Caskey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
