Kimberly Crank Love
Kimberly Crank Love passed away peacefully in Austin, Texas, surrounded by family on January 31, 2023.
She is survived by her husband Dicky Love, her two daughters Carrie and Abby, and their families.
Kim was born in Atlanta and raised first in Birmingham, Alabama, then Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas where she met her husband of 47 years.
Together they eventually settled in Ruston, where they led a church and raised their daughters. Many of you probably saw her on the side of the road or in your backyards clipping flowers and greenery to decorate the church’s sanctuary.
In 2021 she and Dicky moved to Austin to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren. The family is so grateful to have been close to her in these final years.
To all who knew Kim, she was a creative light, a devoted follower of Christ, an excellent gift-giver, a loyal friend, a good listener, and a bit of a goofball. She bravely (and sometimes resentfully) fought a fifteen-year battle with carcinoid tumors, and will be missed for her strength, her faith, and her ability to make every person feel special and loved.
