Laurie Ann Burnett Deaton

Laurie Ann Burnett Deaton, 54, passed on March 24, 2024. She was born in Bossier City on April 22, 1969.

She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing and was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years. Laurie loved her family and was always full of energy. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, and traveling.

She is survived by her mother Julia Gayle Mc-Callister, son Kyle Blake Turner, grandchildren Landon Turner, Kaley Turner, and Makenzye Turner, sister- in- law Darla Burnett, brothers Doug Burnett and Todd Burnett, and nephews Cooper Burnett and Reece Burnett.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry I. Burnett.

There will be a celebration of life held at Historic Fire Station (200 E. Mississippi St., Ruston) on April 20, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The celebration ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.
