Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Youngblood

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Youngblood died peacefully on May 3, 2019, in Shreveport, LA, at the age of 65 after a brief illness.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Aaron Lee Youngblood and wife Sheena; sisters Denise Blake and husband Dale; grandson, Bowen Youngblood; two nieces and one nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas Youngblood.

Ronnie was born on December 7, 1953, in Shreveport, LA to Carl E. and Della F. Youngblood. He graduated from Southland Academy in Dubach, LA in 1973 and was voted “Most Witty.” He is a veteran of the United States Army. His family remembers him for his keen interest in politics and his love of lemon meringue pie.

He was a witty individual who loved his family, especially his only grandson.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Rose-Neath Southside in Shreveport. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA.
