Funeral services for Sarah Dugdale, age 93, of Choudrant, LA, will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2 PM at Alabama Presbyterian Church in Choudrant, LA. Rev. Paul Watts will officiate with interment to follow in the Sibley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. There will be a visitation at the church prior to the service from 1 – 2 PM.

Sarah was born on December 26, 1929, in Choudrant, LA and passed away on October 14, 2023, in Ruston, LA. She enjoyed a long career in the banking industry before her retirement. Sarah was a long-time member at FBC Choudrant, before more recently, moving her membership to Alabama Presbyterian Church in Choudrant. No greater love did she have than that of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie B. and Winona Walker; her brother: Billy Walker; and 2 sons-in-law: Leon White and James Ray Watts.

Sarah is survived by her 2 daughters: Claudia Watts and Terri White; Grandchildren: Bronwyn Watts and Brandon Watts; 4 great grandchildren: Claudia Hayes, Catherine Hayes, Tristen Giger and wife McKenzie, and Wyatt Watts; Sisterin- law: Cosette Boyd; nephew: Buddy Walker; nieces: Gayla Griggs and Karan Kirkham; Special Friend: Vera Streeter; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Watts, Wyatt Watts, Tristen Giger, Barry Hayes, Jeremy Dubose, and Noe Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Walker and Sontus Mitchell.
