Shelby G. Cooper

Funeral services for Shelby G. Cooper, age 74 of Dubach, LA, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2020. at the First Baptist Church of Dubach. Officiating will be the Rev. Cory Bruce and the Rev. Paul Watts. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA., under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Shelby passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dubach.

Preceded in death are his parents; Cecil and Ruth Cooper. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Ann Cooper of Dubach, LA., daughters; Kelly Colvin and husband Rod of Dubach, LA., and Melissa Bruce and husband Cory of Dubach, LA., grandchildren; Hope and Josh Colvin of Dubach, LA., and Cooper and Madison Bruce of Dubach, LA., one niece and two nephews, cousins; Thelma Davidson and Travis Hood. Pallbearers are Chris Thomas, Alan Thomas, Allen Tapp, Rod Colvin, Josh Colvin and Larry Barnett. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Thomas and Donald Franklin.Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church Dubach Building Fund.
