Virginia Goss

Funeral services for Virginia Goss, 79, of Ruston, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church Burkhalter Chapel.

Rev. Jerry Hilbun will officiate and interment will be held at Vienna Cemetery in Vienna. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Virginia was born March 25, 1942 in Ruston, and passed away on October 19, 2021, in Ruston. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Tarbutton, her second husband, Harold Knotts and her son, James Tarbutton, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Tarbutton and wife, Jackie, of Ruston; grandchildren, Bryce Tarbutton, Brittian Tarbutton, Brody Epperson, Benjamin Epperson, and Kodi Anderson; many great-grandchildren; brother, Steve Goss of Washington state.

Virginia was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Hernandez for over 35 years of compassionate care and more recently, Dr. Prakash Peddi at Willis Knighton Cancer Center.
