William Christopher Bowles

William Christopher Bowles, 12, of Crossett, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Montrose as the result of an automobile accident. Christopher was a resident of Crossett for the past six years and a former resident of Hamburg. He was a sixth-grade student at Crossett Middle School and participated in Special Olympics, specifically basketball and track.

He loved animals, especially dogs, and any musical instrument he could get his hands on.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Bowles in 2017; his paternal grandfather, Randald Jordan and his maternal grandparents, Pauline Benedict Wiggins and Daniel Eugene Wiggins.

Christopher’s mother, Jonita René Wiggins Bowles and his sister, Kristy Pauline Bowles, died in the same automobile accident.

He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Diane Klemme Jordan; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Walsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Jones- Hartshorn Funeral Home, PO Box 28, Hamburg, AR 71646. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones- Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
