William Ladd Boyd

William Ladd Boyd, of Hammond, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born on February 10, 1947, in Ruston, the son of the late William Curtis Boyd and the late Sara Frances Jennings Boyd. William is survived by his daughters, Laura Boyd Nix and husband Darin of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Amy Boyd Becnel and husband Lenny of Ponchatoula; granddaughters, Baileigh Nix Ledbetter and husband Joseph, Paige Becnel, and Anna- Claire Becnel; great granddaughter, Sutton Ledbetter; brothers, Roger Boyd and wife Karen of Choudrant, and Joe Boyd and wife Dede of Choudrant; brotherin- law, Chuck Mead; sister- in- law, Alesia Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lyn Doggett Boyd; and sister, Vicky Mead. Services will be held privately.
