William T. ‘Ted’ Minniefield

William T. “ Ted” Minniefield was born to Cascile Richardson on February 8, 1946.

Ted attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964 and attended Grambling State University.

On October 4, 1969, he united in marriage with the late Therliftha Ann Minniefield until her death on August 25, 2006. To this union three daughters were born.

Ted hobbies included hunting and fishing, writing poetry, assisting with writing sermons, and entertaining. He was a former employee of the City of Ruston until his retirement.

Ted departed this life on April 27, 2023 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Amy and LeRhonda Minniefield of Ruston and Tara Brooks ( Micheal) of Austin, Texas; one grandson Cedric (Trel) Minniefield, three granddaughters, Bria and Tia Brooks of Austin, Texas and Kera Minniefield of Ruston; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 6, at Paradise Funeral Home in Arcadia.
