Bulldogs unveil Conference USA schedule

Louisiana Tech men’s basketball unveiled its Conference USA schedule for the 2023-24 season on Monday, a slate that includes 16 league matchups.
Tech will play every conference team twice, both home and away, starting on Jan. 6 when the Bulldogs travel to Huntsville, Texas, to face new C-USA member Sam Houston.
The Dunkin’ Dogs will face Middle Tennessee on the road on Jan. 10 before taking on two other new members in the league – Liberty (home on Jan. 13) and Jacksonville State (away on Jan. 20).
The team then plays host to UTEP and the fourth new school in C-USA, New Mexico State, on Jan. 25 and Jan. 27, respectively. February starts off when a road trip to Miami to battle FIU, followed by a split week of hosting WKU on Feb. 7 and then a road contest at Liberty on Feb. 10.
The Bulldogs will then have back-to-back home games against Jacksonville State (Feb. 15) and FIU (Feb. 17) followed by a three-game road stretch at UTEP (Feb. 22), New Mexico State (Feb. 24), and WKU ( Feb. 28). The league schedule closes out at home for the Bulldogs against Sam Houston on March 6 and Middle Tennessee on March 9.
The CUSA Basketball Championship is set for March 12-16 in Huntsville, Alabama at Propst Arena.
Louisiana Tech finished last season 15-18 overall in the first year under Talvin Hester.
