The 2023-24 Louisiana Tech men’s basketball roster nears completion as head coach Talvin Hester announced Tuesday the signing of Jaylin Henderson, a transfer from Seward County Community College.

This past season was Henderson’s best where he did it all, averaging 14.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest.

He started in 30 of 31 games at SCCC, shooting 43.2% from the field and 32.1% from three- point range.

He had 21 double-digit scoring games, including nine games of 20-plus points with his best performance coming against Dodge City CC where he tallied 27 points. Before going on to play for the Saints, Henderson starred at Wichita West High School where he averaged 16.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as a senior.
