LA Tech, K-State regional matchup moved to Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE - It seems Mother Nature is not a fan of Louisiana Tech.

For the second time in the last two weeks, LA Tech baseball will have to make up a postseason game in the early morning due to lightning and persistent rain in the Bulldogs' NCAA Regional matchup against Kansas State Friday evening.

The game will be made up at 11 a.m.

Kansas State led 9-4 going in the sixth inning before lightning near left field triggered a weather delay at 10:01 p.m., only for multiple flashes to hit near Baum-Walker Stadium to prolong the delay.

The delay lasted over an hour, with the rain picking up as the minutes went by.
