Tech Madness returns Oct. 30 at the TAC

Are you ready for basketball?
If so, come be a part of the hype night that is Tech Madness which is set to take place on Oct. 30 inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with admission being free to all fans as the 2023-24 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will be introduced to the crowd to kick off the event.
There will be a heavy Halloween theme to this year’s Madness with trick-or-treating and costume contest. Free pizza will also be available to students in attendance.
Other festivities will begin at 7 p.m. including a three- point contest, professor/faculty game, competition giveaways, and more.
The new-look Bulldogs, guided by secondyear head coach Talvin Hester, have some fa-miliar faces in two-time All-Conference USA selection Isaiah Crawford, C- USA All- Freshman honoree Jordan Crawford, and forwards Dravon Mangum and Will Allen to go along with nine new players.
The Lady Techsters return 10 players from last season, including four starters – two-time All-Conference USA selection Anna Larr Roberson, Amaya Brannon, Salma Bates, and Silvia Nativi. They have also added three newcomers to the roster.
The season tips off for both squads on Nov. 6 as the Bulldogs travel to take on Colorado State while the Lady Techsters host LSU-Alexandria.
Season tickets for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams are on sale now.
