CHOUDRANT — The Choudrant Lady Aggies cruised to a 12-2 win in their home playoff opener here against Mt. Hermon Monday, using an 11-hit attack to do so.
SIMSBORO — At this point in the season, it’s a matter of who can stop the Choudrant machine, if they can. The Aggies scored early and often here Monday to beat the Tigers 17-1 in five innings.
Zoey Smith went 4-for- 4 with a home run to pace the Choudrant Lady Aggies in a 23-7 onslaught against Summerfield in their regular season finale Thursday.
DELHI — Ruston head baseball coach Toby White wanted to add an additional game this week to give his team more work, and the trip here proved to be fruitful.
The streak continues. It’s now reached 20 games. No. 1 Choudrant had a close battle with neighboring Quitman, but the Aggies have a penchant for pulling out tough games late.
