Retiring 3rd Judicial District Court Judge Cynthia Woodard said she will take the time to figure out what her plans are now that she will be stepping down in early 2018. “I will still have a presence in the community, but it is time to spend some time with my family — my children and grandchildren,” she said. “As a judge, you always have to be prepared to be in the area to sign search warrants or emergency custody proceedings.
