Service members and their families make many sacrifices to protect the lives and freedoms of their fellow citizens. The following are three unique ways to give back to these selfless men and women, who often benefit greatly from even the simplest of gestures.

GSU to hold Veterans Day event today

GRAMBLING — Grambling State University will honor military veterans during its third annual Veterans Appreciation Day Program at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center. The event, which is open to the public, will salute veterans and extend gratitude for their service. Attendees must wear masks and practice social distancing.
