Last week the New York Police Department laid to rest two officers who were brutally murdered by a man that had been assaulting his mother. This man was a habitual criminal and should have been behind bars instead of walking the streets. Soon after that horrendous act, a constable in Houston stopped a driver for a traffic violation.
The Lincoln Parish Police Jury has agreed to the city of Ruston’s original $120,000 asking price for the Ruston Fire Department to continue providing ambulance service outside the city limits, but just for 2022.
