Long Term Care facilities have been instrumental in providing the care that patients need that are beyond the ability of a family member to provide to and for their loved ones. Jackson Parish has two facilities that are staffed by nurses who have been trained to administer care that is specific to the needs of predominantly geriatric patients. However, they also provide respite care and therapy as another option in the services that they offer to the residents of Jackson Parish.
