These are recipes taken from “The Collection,” a cookbook developed by the Lincoln Parish Museum and Historical Society. The cookbook committee was comprised of JoAnn Barham, Adelaide Hunt, Susan Shirley and Helen Wilmot. Each recipe for the book was submitted by ladies and gentlemen who called Ruston and Lincoln Parish their home, and therefore lovingly devoted their energy to maintaining its heritage and legacy.
Funeral services for John Warren Sylvest, 39, will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, in Ruston. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
Funeral services for Ms. Dianne Wade will be held at 2 p.m. January 7, 2023, at Antioch Church of Christ in Spearsville, with Bro. Jason Cole and Tommy Bennet officiating.
NATCHITOCHES — Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts ( LSMSA) senior Rosie Shultz of Ruston has been selected as the school’s Student of the Year and will represent LSMSA in the state’s regional competition this spring.
