In recognition of Gold Star Mother’s Day, VFW Post 3615 paused to honor those local mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of the U.S. Armed Forces. On behalf of our local veterans, VFW Senior Vice Commander Tom Boniol presented each mother with a pot-plant of lillies and a gift certificate to Log Cabin while visiting them over the weekend. Boniol is seen with Gail Lindsey (left) and Jill Puckett at each of their homes.
