The Ruston Rotary Club has announced the recipients of the April Student of the Month Awards. Before the governor’s Executive Stayat-Home Orders, each student honoree was scheduled to speak to the club members about their accomplishments at the April 16 luncheon and be presented with an award of achievement.
DUBACH — During the coronavirus stayat-home order, the town of Dubach, like many municipalities, did not charge late fees or cut off service to residents who failed to pay their water bills.
The line started forming well before daybreak Saturday as thousands of cars showed up to receive free food donated by the Karl Malone family and friends at a COVID-19 relief distribution held at Malone Toyota in Ruston.
Ann Marie Roberts passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Ruston, LA. Due to the pandemic, a private graveside service will be held this week at Kilpatrick’s Memorial Gardens. A memorial mass in her honor will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at a later date.
A private service for Lynda Gayle Fairley Taylor was held on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR, with Dr. Dave McKinney presiding.
Private family services for Barbara Jean Tryon, 75, of Farmerville, LA,, will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville with Rev. Michael McIntosh officiating.
