Four Louisiana Tech golfers earned academic honors Thursday as the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their list of NCAA Division I Cobalt All-America scholars for the 2023-24 season.
The Ruston Community Theatre’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof” came to a close Sunday with outstanding reviews from the public to close out the troupe’s 46th season. RCT is planning its next show for the Dixie Center with auditions scheduled in August for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” which will be presented Oct. 17-20. Auditions will be held at MARC (RCT building) at 504 E. Georgia Ave. from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 24 and 2-4 p.m. on Aug. 25.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Monday, the La. 145 Bridge over Choudrant Creek in Lincoln Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
