While in Baton Rouge last week, I received a text from Tom asking if I knew someone named Bob Born. I immediately started rifling through the files in my mind, trying to put the name Bob Born in the right place.

Valentine’s Day sparks one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year. Though it might not inspire the masses quite like Black Friday, Valentine’s Day compels millions of people to find gifts for that special someone in their lives each February.

Dear Doctors: I would like to know more about ASMR. I never heard of it until a friend’s daughter started watching videos of people whispering. She says she likes how it feels. I watched for a bit, and nothing happened, but my own daughter has become a fan. What is ASMR? What does it do?
