The recipients of tickets to the Louisiana Tech home baseball series against Texas San-Antonio this weekend are Dan Denton, Donna Belcher and Patrick Wright. “Thank you so much, my wife Barbara and I will be going to the game,” said Denton. Belcher added, “I have been trying and trying to win, thank you so much. This will make my husband’s week. We purchased tickets for the other two days, now we get to have a full Tech weekend.” Wright responded while picking up his tickets, “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.” Watch for ads in the paper and on our social media for next Game Giveaways for May 20 and 21 as the Dogs host Old Dominion. The North Central Louisiana Arts Council is excited to announce the return of the annual Peach Art Exhibit, in conjunction with the 71st Annual Louisiana Peach Festival.

DEAR HARRIETTE: My mom’s boyfriend is not a good guy at all. He’s been arrested several times, and I think he currently has a warrant our for his arrest. My sister and I also recently found out that he has a child by another woman that he never told my mom about.

The Birthday Fellowship Club held a fan drive under the direction of the club president Joseph Capers this week.
