The first of two Ruston Daily Leader forum events featuring candidates for Lincoln Parish Police Jury is slated for Thursday at 5:30 p.m at the library Events Center.
It took Ruston’s Board of Aldermen less than 30 minutes Monday night to adopt the city’s 2024 budget and approve a slew of resolutions setting a number of public works projects in motion.
“Transparency,” “integrity” and “ambulance service” were the most common phrases of the night as Lincoln Parish voters heard from this fall’s police jury candidates publicly for the first time Monday at a “meet the candidates” event in Grambling.
