Ruston Artisans recently hosted local artist and author Jean DeFreese Moore for a special book signing event in honor of her latest work entitled “A Father’s Love.” Inspired by a home school project with her granddaughter, Moore began the stirring story of a mountain man, Travis Britt. But God had other plans. The story was shared with friends, and these friends encouraged her to continue sharing through publication. With her fourth book, Travis’s story comes to a close, but his legacy lives on through the lives of his children, grandchildren, and readers. Leader photo by Cathi Cox-Boniol
