At least three Lincoln Parish nursing home residents — all of whom lived at Princeton Place — have died of the novel coronavirus, according to statistics released Monday by the Louisiana Department of Health.

Though most of the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln Parish have occurred in Ruston, the largest clusters of cases are in southern and eastern parts of the city, along with the southwestern part of the parish.
Numerous businesses around Ruston that were closed during the coronavirus stay-at-home order opened their doors Friday as Louisiana began its transition to Phase One of economic reopening.
Today marks the end of the 53-day coronavirus stay-at-home order in Louisiana, and residents who may have grown out their hair while businesses remained closed now have the chance to remedy that.
