Swearing in for a new term

The three judges for the 3rd Judicial District court and the 3rd Judicial District Attorney were sworn in by new Louisiana Supreme Court Associate Justice Jay McCallum Monday at the courthouse annex in Ruston. The four men will serve six-year terms. Pictured from left is Division A Judge Jeffrey Robinson, Division C Judge Bruce Hampton, District Attorney John Belton and Division B Judge Tommy Rogers. McCallum (far right) administered the oath of office. The 3rd Judicial District covers Lincoln and Union Parishes. A similar ceremony was held earlier in the day in Farmerville.
