Tech projects move forward during break

Louisiana Tech University is continuing its work on multiple campus projects while students are largely absent for the holiday break.

Pictured at top, a welder works on a beam at the construction site for one of two residence halls next to Mitchell Hall on Tech Drive. The buildings will open in the fall of 2021 to replace Mitchell and two other older structures.

Pictured at bottom, dirt work continues at the former site of Harper Hall, which was demolished this summer. The site is being converted into an open green-space extension of the adjacent Centennial Plaza.
