Above, members of the U.S. Army precision drill team toss their rifles in the air above the head of their commander during Ruston’s Veterans Day observance on Thursday at Railroad Park downtown. The Washington, D.C.-based team performs with bayonet-tipped 1903 Springfield rifles. Thursday marked the group’s first appearance in Louisiana.
