The Lincoln Parish Police Jury’s public works committee will be asked to approve a request for warning signals and cross arms at a Kansas City Southern Railroad Crossing on Walker Road in Choudrant.

The Village of Choudrant makes the request following Choudrant Elementary School’s decision to reroute the student drop off and pick line to alleviate traffic congestion on U.S. Highway 80. Village officials believe warning signals is best for the safety of students and their families.
