Free COVID-19 vaccinations were offered for the first time on Louisiana Tech University campus Thursday as the vaccine clinic offered by the Louisiana National Guard and Louisiana Department of Health got underway.
Over the past two months, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state public health region that includes Lincoln Parish have grown faster among children ages 5 to 17 and young people ages 18 to 29 than any other age group, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
