Biden’s trip to Saudi Arabia gains nothing

Last week the President of the United States made a trip to Israel and then boarded Air Force One and flew directly to Saudi Arabia. Our president, the commander in chief of the most powerful country in the world, was on a mission to persuade the Saudi Arabian government to increase the output of the main component of its gross domestic product, crude oil.

Organized fires part of Jonesboro’s beautification

JONESBORO — The Jonesboro Fire Department and Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office employee Tim Wyatt teamed up to burn a house down in the downtown Jonesboro area on Tuesday evening as part of a beautification process to clean up the town.

Super Supports Summer STEM Camp

The Lincoln Parish STEM Center welcomed elementary students for its first Super Supports Summer STEM Camp. The camp focused on engineering different supports for the human body. The first design project involved creating a sling for the arm. Joey Moore (above), Jadaviana Cato (middle) and Anniston O’Neal (below) work on the beginning stages of their sling design. The camp will also feature engineering a knee brace as well as an ankle foot orthosis that could be used with children living with muscular dystrophy.
