VFW Post, Auxiliary hold indoor picnic

VFW Post 3615 and its Auxiliary hosted an “indoor picnic” featuring brats and buns with all the fixings prior to the September meeting. The effort was designed to promote fellowship and camaraderie among its members and is slated to be the first of several similar events. Both groups meet the third Thursday of every month at the Post located at 2510 South Vienna Street in Ruston.

Bonner Street Bridge closure

Motorists in Ruston are advised that the Bonner Street Bridge will be closed to traffic Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to midnight for the removal of a power line.
