A Ruston woman has been charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to a juvenile after she allegedly poured Kool-Aid on the girl’s blouse then threatened to kill her with a kitchen knife, all because the suspect thought the girl was being disrespectful.

A 23- year- old Dubach woman was jailed Saturday on a single charge of domestic abuse battery- child endangerment after a spat that apparently involved several generations of the same family. Lincoln Parish sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic battery in progress call shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday on Hwy. 152 to find Zoe Kitchell standing in the front yard. Accoding to Kitchell’s arrest affidavit, deputies had been told Kitchell was suicidal and had a knife, but Kitchell told deputies she was just upset.
