DEAR HARRIETTE: I am a serious night owl. I work long hours and need time to unwind. I don’t do all that much at night, but I don’t go to sleep. I watch movies sometimes, or binge watch stupid TV shows. I read sometimes. I don’t really know how the time passes.

Santa recently set up shop in Ruston’s Historic Fire Station where more than 200 children came to see him in just two and a half hours. Along with the chance to visit with Santa and have pictures made, the “Cookies with Santa” event hosted by Friends of Ruston Main Street also provided children with a cookie kit for the holidays as well as an ornament craft for their Christmas tree. BATON ROUGE — Louisiana children ages 6 months and older are now eligible to receive the updated COVID-19 bivalent booster, after the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) endorsed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorization expanding the ages eligible for the new booster.
