Each week, DART allows me the privilege of meeting with all the kids enrolled in our program. We gather at a local church gym and play board games, color, jet around on wheeled toys or just talk. We always eat together (thank you First Baptist).

Developed out of New Orleans, culturalyst.com is a new way for artists and organizations to connect with one another. Our area is full of artists making and creating, but how do you go about finding them? Culturalyst is a new central platform designed by founder and CEO Sam Bowler. With features such as SEOoptimized profiles, gallery display of images, links to online platforms, and upcoming events, artists and organizations can create profiles, share their projects, look at and post job opportunities, and more.

DEAR HARRIETTE: I’m a rising senior in high school dating a rising freshman in college. We just passed our eight-month anniversary. I’m aware that I’m just in high school and may not know everything, but I know I love her. I’ve heard a lot of talk.
