Vanniarachchy who wrote, “A father’s tears and fears are unseen, his love is unexpressed, but his care and protection remains as a pillar of strength through our lives.” Honestly, as a boy, there was never an occasion when I saw tears streaming down my father’s face. And there was never a moment, when there was a clear and present danger, I ever sensed that my father was afraid. A father’s tears and fears may be unseen to the eyes of his children but a father’s faith, which is the source of his strength, must always be genuine, unwavering, visible, vivid, and full of vitality.
