Cedar Creek High School students (from left) Bailey Adams, Maddy Parkman and Laina Parkman present a check in the amount of $1,500 to Stephanie Matthews of CCA (Christian Community Action) at the Fabric Shop last Friday. Adams and both Parkmans wanted to help fight hunger after finding out that one in four children in Louisiana go to bed hungry, and they did so by raising $1,500 for the food bank by selling jewelry at the Louisiana Peach Festival. The girls thank everyone who contributed to their goal for the food bank and helped them raise this money. Courtesy photo
