Flag Retirement Ceremony

Members of VFW Post 3615 joined forces with Blain Owens of Owens Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home to host the 2022 Flag Retirement Ceremony Tuesday. Troop 45 teams with VFW for flag retirement

Members of VFW Post 3615 along with the North Louisiana Military Museum and Boy Scout Troop 45 recently teamed to up prepare flags for the upcoming flag retirement ceremony slated for today. Damaged flags that were turned in to the post and museum over the past year were collected and disassembled by veterans and local scouts during a Saturday work day held at the post. Seven state universities become first class Keep Louisiana Beautiful affiliates

Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB), a non-profit focused on community improvement through litter prevention, environmental education, and beautification has graduated its first class of seven university affiliates and will open the new application cycle July 15.
