The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Lincoln Parish is now at 22. That’s according to the Louisiana Department of Health’s daily update issued at noon Tuesday.
Despite the temporary cessation of other Phase II projects at the Ruston Sports Complex, the city’s Board of Aldermen on Monday took the next step to keep work going on a new Veterans of Foreign Wars hall.
To comply with Gov. John Bel Edwards’ extended stay-at-home order announced last week, the Lincoln Parish Library will remain closed through the end of April.

The city of Ruston is laying off all of its part-time employees and contract workers, furloughing 21 employees and cutting pay for others in light of the economic slowdown caused by the coronavirus.
