Makeover in the works for Centennial Plaza

Louisiana Tech University is revamping Centennial Plaza next to the Student Center this summer. The tiled Tech seal, a campus landmark, has been removed and will be raised off the ground in the center of the new plaza, which is planned to be completed by the fall quarter. Incoming freshmen have long been instructed never to walk on the seal, lest they be cursed and fail to graduate.
