Kathleen Bloomer Duffey

Funeral services for Kathleen Bloomer Duffey, 74, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2019, at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. The Rev. Kurt Auger officiated.

Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday, July 22.

Kathleen was born September 21, 1944 in Santa Ana, CA. and passed from this life July 19, 2019 in Farmerville, LA surrounded by her family. She worked briefly in retail and as secretary for her husband at the Local 710 Iron Workers Union. She primarily dedicated her time to her family as a loving wife and devoted Mom and Mamaw.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Fondren and a brother, Gary Bloomer.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Roy Duffey Sr.; two daughters, Lisa Waldrop and Nicole King (Jeff), son, Roy Duffey, Jr. (Leslie); nine grandchildren, Tristin Waldrop, Payton Waldrop, Chandler Duffey, Madison Duffey, Collin Duffey, Jillian Duffey, Cole Dyke, Nicholas Dyke, Alex Dyke, and Krista Montez; one sister, Linda Fulmer (Rodger); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful neighbors and friends.
